1. WHAT IS YOUR TIME FRAME?

2. MAKE A LIST OF WHAT WILL BE DONE IN YOUR BATHROOM REMODEL.
New tiling? Lighting? Plumbing Fixtures? Moving walls? New Cabinets? adding another sink? A stand-alone shower? Replace bathtub? Larger shower? Quartz, Granite or Marble Countertops? Frame-less Glass enclosure for the shower? Free standing bathtub? Make a list of what do you want in your bathroom, what is staying and what needs to be changed.

3. FIND INSPIRATION.
Start searching for bathroom remodel idea on Pinterest, Google or on our website and facebook page and collect ideas that you love. Do you want a drop-in tub? Do you love subway tile? Grout color? Different grout color for walls and floor? What about vanity lights? Stare at tons of pictures and really think about exactly what you love about that image.
4. MAKE A BUDGET.
Now that you have a list of what you want and your inspiration, make a budget. Also, realize things come up in bathroom remodels, so give yourself some wiggle room.
5. DO YOU NEED TO SPECIAL ORDER ANYTHING?
Make sure all the finish materials are available. Many items are not in stock at the local stores that you have to special order, such as the tub, shower faucets, or light fixture, which can hold up the remodeling process. Also, counters and glass shower enclosures take time to order and install.
As long as you are thinking ahead, special orders are no big deal, and you can usually even ship them directly to your house for free from many stores!

6. DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS.
Where do you want outlets? Where do you need lights? How high do you want the lights? Will you have one three-light wall sconce or two two-light sconces? One or two mirrors? Where do the light switches go? Where will towel bars hang? Cabinet hardware? Do you want a built-in shower and/or bathtub shelf? how about a bench in the shower?
7. HERE’S HOW TO PICK OUT TILES AND FIXTURES.
Go to the local store and look at the materials in person. Touch the material and make sure you like the feeling of it. Take pictures on your phone of what you like in the store. Include prices in the pictures for easy reference later.
Remember things like smaller tiles equals more grout lines, Glossy tiles are slippery and not a preferred material for bathroom floor.
At the end, take a Sample in to your house a make sure it's the right color with your room lighting.
8. BE FLEXIBLE.
Sometimes changing the the materials to very similar items can save you a lot. look what's on sale at the stores and find what works the best. If you are installing quartz countertop, sometimes similar colors have a huge different price.
9. ASK FOR ALL THE OPTIONS
Don't hesitate to ask your impossible plans that you think it's not in your budget. Sometimes removing a wall in the bathroom or adding a second sink in your vanity does not cost that much. Some people don't ask for a free-standing bathtub or a shower system valve because they think it's too expensive. In reality, many valuable upgrades can be done in your bathroom for just a few hundred dollars.

10. IT’S JUST A BATHROOM. DON’T STRESS YOURSELF OUT TOO MUCH.
